Chinese Export Porcelain Imari & Verte Large Saucer Dish

The Chinese Export Imari porcelain saucer dish is painted in the central well with a riverscape view of islands with pagodas, buildings, and trees, a bridge with figures crossing can be seen in the foreground. Surrounding the central scene is an iron-red diaper band and on the outside rim a narrow blue line enclosing flowering plants in Imari and gold with the leaves, unusually, in green enamel.
