English Glazed Redware Engine-turned Tea Pot & Cover,

Circa 1780

The redware teapot & cover is decorated with wavy lines. There is a chip to the tip of the spout and one to the interior inner lip.

Dimensions: 4 1/4 inches high x 6 3/4 inches wide x 3 1/2 inches deep.

Reference: The Earle Collection of Early Staffordshire Pottery, Major Cyril Earle T.D.,  pages 22-23 # 36 for almost identical tea pot described as Wedgwood.
