American, northeastern. Ca. 1800-1820. Black ash burl wood. Excellent condition, some wear from use, great natural patina. In an impressive size with thin, steep sides, the bowl was masterfully turned, identified with two concentric rings on the outside of the bowl. Great symmetry and form. Provenance: Ex-collection of David Good, Ohio, sold to a private collector.
