Exceptional Jackson Pollack Style decoration on a 19th C French Pitcher with lid. Reddish brown ground color with wild white and dark brown slip decoration. The white appears cream color due to glaze. The lid does have a chip but just having the lid is a plus. Interior white appears cream color due to glaze. Incised "R" in base. Normal rim wear. Tiny flaking on interior rim.
