English Creamware Tureen, Cover & Stand,

Circa 1790-1800
The Wedgwood creamware soup tureen, cover and stand is of an oval form with dramatic handles with large molded leaf terminals with a molded flower head on the side of the tureen to each side. The tureen stands within an oval molded lip on the tureen underdish. The cover has a large finial in the form of a flower with leaves issuing onto the cover.
Dimensions 11 3/4 inches x 16 1/2 inches x 12 1/4 inches deep
Mark: WEDGWOOD
Condition: The body, handles and underdish are all in excellent condition On the foot there is a line on one side and a glaze imperfection on the reverse side. The very tip of the finial has a glaze bruise- these are are shown in the last photos.
