Unique Chippewa/Ojibwa (Native American) pictorial beaded pouch panel from a bandolier bag. This piece is unusual because of the asymmetric composition of the floral and leaf decorations and the addition of a single cat element in the lower right corner. The bandolier panel is constructed of trade wool and cotton with wool tape edging, and glass trade beads. Circa 1870-80's. Very good condition, soiling/staining to the rear wool cloth; would have originally had a shoulder strap.
