Christopher Settle has been an antiques dealer since 1976, first in Ann Arbor Michigan, and in New England since 1982. I specialize in formal and high style country American furniture from 1740 to 1840. Period American brass fireplace equipment is another specialty. 

 

I’m particularly interested in formal American Federal furniture; 1790 to 1825. I’ve sold to numerous museums, collectors, and dealers, who have acquired furniture by Seymour, Phyfe, and other important makers.                                                        

 

I strive to offer aesthetically appealing objects, with an emphasis on form, proportion, and originality.    I sell from my home in suburban Boston, and at Antiques in Manchester, The Collectors Fair each August during Antiques week in New Hampshire.
