Exquisite detailed casting of three Turkeys
cast iron Antique Bookends. Showing a realistic wild-life
scene of one Tom or Gobbler and two Hens on a log with rocks
and trees in background. These bookends are by far
the best works of art in design, skill, and craftsmanship that
Hubley produced in cast iron. At first look one would think
they had been produced by Bradley and Hubbard with
such attention to detail.
Made by Hubley and numbered 139.
Ca. 1920s-30s.
Excellent plus condition with original paint.
6 3/8” tall x 5 ¾” wide x 2 ½” deep.
