Fancy Slat-Back Windsor Settee



Probably New York, c. 1815

Retaining the original green painted finish, the top slats decorated with a guilloche of yellow leaves and salmon ovals. The thumbnail supports terminate with a gold stenciled leaf. The curved arms and turned arm support flank the original rush seat resting on flared legs with ball feet.
