Ovoid jug (even with ribs) forms the belly, dogs legs and tail applied with a seam at the neck.

Scratched paws, eyes and mouth with nicely formed ears and DUCK in mouth.

Age unknown, an educated guess is early 20thc in an older style. 

Very nice condition with expected craquelure to glaze and only one chip (ear). Roughness on the dog’s behind appears to mark the tail being moved during design.
