Trompe l’oeil of gun

This trompe l'oeil painting is an illusionist oil on board of a gun.  With a convincing play of shadows, reflections and textures, this painting has captured it all.  McDorman has presented a painting where one feels an encounter with the actual object portrayed in the pictures.  Some of his works have been shown at the Grand Central Galleries in New York.
