Description

19th century American checkers & chess game board, polychrome-painted in a brilliant shade of lipstick red and black, with excellent, original surface. Made ca 1870-1880 from a single 3/4-inch softwood plank, though the combination is simple, the electric color and pleasing shape make for a wonderful example.

Condition: Minor, expected wear.
