Diminutive Fraktur “ PE”


A small piece of history, the letters “PE” are decoratively enhanced and placed above the following sentiment, “ A D this is to remember me when I am Free 30th Day of 11th month 1806” Perhaps a fragment from a larger piece. Handed down through the family, possibly a Darnell with Quaker ties to Delaware Valley. Pen and ink. Unframed. Paper is creased and a slight hole at the base. 3 ¼ height 5 ¼” width
