A Queen Anne carved pine watch hutch featuring a shaped rectangular tap crest, with a vertical slot cut out for hanging, over a rectangular case. The door is joined to the case with a hinge on the right side and features a heart shaped cut out window. The glass is applied to the inside of the door and set in an irregular recess that conforms to the shape of the "make do" broken glass.
New England, 1760-1785. Eastern white pine throughout.
In good condition with original construction and hardware. The door shows a hairline shrinkage crack running from the bottom of the heart to the lower edge of the door. The surface shows traces of the original green paint.
The pictured watch is for display purposes only.
