Hand held lantern constructed from a blown bottle and tin. The base of the bottle has been chipped away in six places to allow for the draft of air up through the lantern and up through the cut off top and then the applied pierced tin top. A candle is lowered by a tin holder into the bottle portion to provide the light source. This lantern still has all of its acquired grundge.
