Outstanding one gallon stoneware jug likely potted by George Lent in Albany, C. 1820. This style of decoration is oft referred to as the "Washington Street flower" and although the general design was utilized by several potters is the belief of several that the peculiarites of this particular design are indicative of Lent's work. Condition is essentially perfect with no post manufacture damage.
