Very good condition, with only a tiny wear mark in the cover and a small corner crease in the bottom right of the front cover. 112 pp. 172 examples shown from the collection, all in full color. Samplers included hail from Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, The South, England, and Scotland. Silk embroideries from Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Mississippi, and Canada are also included. The book finished with a Notes, Bibliography, and Index. All examples include Betty Ring's extensive catalog information. An excellent compilation of a collection that has since been dispersed.
